  1. I’ve never worked with a staffing firm. How does it work?

The REMY staff is comprised of recruiters who are all actively working to find the unique skills for each of our clients needs. Our staff is skilled at querying the database for candidates that match the skill requirements and background for every one of our client’s positions. We assist our clients with onboarding their full-time candidates and contract out resources to clients who are looking for contract or contract-to-hire positions.

We are headquartered in Denver, CO but we have 6 satellite offices across the United States.

REMY specializes in recruiting Technology Professionals across all industries and all positions. REMY has staffed mostly C-Level positions for clients in Higher Education, Public Sector, Healthcare, Insurance, Financial Services, Aerospace, and much more. Contract Terms & Agreements

 

  1. What is Remy Corporation’s payment terms?

The REMY Corporation’s payment terms are flexible based on the client and the requirements.

  1. Does the Remy Corporation hire for W2 employees or 1099 contractors?

The REMY Corporation staffs for both W2 employees and 1099 contractors.

  1. Does the Remy Corporation offer benefits?

The REMY Corporation does not provide any benefits for any of its employees except as otherwise set forth herein and therefore the employee is not entitled to any benefits not expressly identified per agreement. Remy’s general liability insurance policy may provide coverage, including a duty to defend the employee, for certain losses resulting from employee’s actions.

  1. How quickly can you staff an open position(s)?

From the time we receive a request for temporary contract personnel, it takes us on average 12-24 hours to submit qualified candidates. Depending on how quickly interviews are set up, we can fill the positions listed between 48 and 72 hours. For full time placement, the average time to submit qualified candidates is 48-72 hours.

  1. Do you staff remote/off-site jobs?

We staff per our client’s discretion. If our client requires us to find candidates that are willing to work remote, then we will find our client a remote candidate. We handle the shipment of work equipment for our clients and the entire onboarding process.

  1. What happens if I am unsatisfied with a candidate?

If the client is dissatisfied with a consultant’s performance, we request that the client notify the account manager and request a replacement. The account manager makes it a top priority to find a replacement consultant. In most cases a replacement consultant is found within 24 hours.

 

Timesheet Portal & Payroll

 

  1. I never received my timesheet portal login credentials. Who should I contact?

  1. How do I submit my timesheets?

Go to the drop down Log In under the Remy Portal tab on our website. Use your log in credentials and submit your hours for the appropriate week. Some client’s use separate portals for consultants to submit their time. Our operations team with get you set up in the right location to submit your timesheets every week. Timesheets are expected to be submitted no later than Tuesday before noon for the prior week. Once submitted, your assigned timesheet approver must approve your time before you are eligible for payment on that week’s timesheet. Any timesheets submitted late will be pushed to the following scheduled payment.

  1. As the manager, how do I approve our contractor’s timesheets?

As a timesheet approver or manager, you will receive an automatic email every time your contractor submits a timesheet through our portal. You will be provided with the option to accept or deny. If accepted, then the timesheet will be pushed through to invoicing. If denied, then you will be required to provide a reason for the denial and submit.

  1. How do payments work for W2 Employees?

Remy pay’s W2 employees on a biweekly payment cycle with payment dates on every other Friday. Each paycheck covers two weeks of pay UNLESS the employee starts their contract in the middle of a pay week.

  1. How do payments work for 1099 Contractors?

You will be paid on a bi-monthly schedule. 1099 payments are PROCESSED on the 15th and end of the month. Therefore, you will receive your payments two business days following that processing dates. If the 15th or end of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, the processing date will be pushed to the following business day. Each payment will cover 2 weeks’ worth of pay. Payments will be made by Remy in response to a properly submitted timesheet in accordance with the following payment schedule. Payments will begin following the first invoice submitted Net 30 after the week-ending period, on the next semimonthly payment cycle either on the 15th or last day of the month. Each payment will include 2 weekly timesheets, will be sent by regular mail or ACH on the payment date. Payment dates which fall on a weekend or holiday will be processed the next business day.
